We may decide to install additional RAM to help your computer run more smoothly, or perform a system tune-up. That may be enough to get it moving efficiently again!

This is typically the result of users downloading hazardous files, or accidentally clicking that link from someone they don’t know, which allows hackers to gain access to your system.

Viruses have been around for a very long time, and can do a real number to your personal files and your privacy. As we explained in our post on How to Speed Up Your Computer’s Boot Time, make sure you have Windows Defender (or your operating system’s default antivirus/antispyware solution) activated. If these programs aren’t able to fix it, you may need to bring your computer in for repairs.
